My Attempt at an Internet Scam

Esteemed gentleperson,

Please excuse that I write you without that we have met, but I have received your name from a mutual person who has vouched for you to heed my request and not to tell anybody about it. I am manager of a small bank in east Kenya and recently going over dormant accounts I encountered one from Mr. Michael Smith, a foreigner, who is dead, with his family, and all his relatives, in big family reunion avalanche, leaving a debt to this bank of $56.42 which we have no one from whom to collect.

I am seeking a foreigner to act as an agent for Mr. Smith and to pay his bill. In return, I am sending a receipt.
